On-Site Parties:
We offer birthday parties, family picnics, etc on-site. This means you bring the people to our farm! We have a covered pavilion available with picnic tables. There is a restroom and plenty of room to set up a grill. You bring the fixins (food, grill, decorations, etc) and we will provide the animals! On-site parties include access to the petting zoo, pony rides and farm related games!
Off-Site Parties:
Prefer to hold the party in the comfort of your own home?! We also provide off-site birthday parties where we come to you! The off-site party choice has two options. We can bring the entire zoo crew including a horse, adult and baby goats, exotic chickens, ducks, rabbits and a donkey! Or you can have just two horses for pony rides.
Squadron Parties
Being as we are a retired military family, we also love to provide family fun to local squadron parties at Cherry Point. The services we offer for squadron parties is exactly the same as for off-site parties. We can either bring the entire zoo crew, or just the horses!
Kids Day Camps
During the summer time, we try to offer many farm-life experiences for kids to stay busy through day camps! These camps are typically held in the morning, usually from 9am-12pm (times will vary.)
Horseback Riding Lessons
All year long, we offer western style horseback riding lessons to kids between the ages of 4 and 18. Each session is about an hour long including not more than half an hour of grooming and tacking up and the rest of the time allotted to riding. Youth will learn what the different types of tack and brushes are, how to groom properly, how to tack up a horse, and the basics of riding western (walk, jog and eventually lope.)
Educational Services
We love to share our farm to teach kids about the life. We have provided educational opportunities for 4-H clubs, Girl Scout troops, Cub Scout groups, church groups, daycares, etc. Groups of youth or classes can visit our farm and mingle with the animals while getting a quality, hands-on educational experience! No riding included.
Special Events
Throughout the year, we like to host a series of events depending on the holiday or time of year. Our events are always updated and listed on the special events link at the top of the webpage. These events include a Live Nativity, a birthday party for Travler, Annual Easter Egg Hunt, etc.
